SSC CHSL Recruitment 2020-21 Analysis Notification and Application The online connection has been leaked out. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) of the Government of India will conduct the Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination 2020 (CHSL 10+2), scheduled to take place from 12 April to 27 April 2021. SSC CHSL 2020-2021 Examination of Postal Assistants / Sorting Assistants, Data Entry Operators (DEO) and Lower Divisional Clerks (LDC) / Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) recruitment roles in various Government of India Ministries / Departments / Offices. Online registration for the SSC CHSL 10+2 Exam 2020 is expected to close on 15 December 2020.

  • Age limit: between 18 and 27 years as of 1 January 2020 (Candidates born not before 02-01-1994 and not later than 01-01-2003). The Upper Age Relaxation limit – 05 Years for SC / ST. 03 Years for OBC, Plus 10 Years for PWD, as per Govt. for others. Regulations.

 Minimum Educational Qualification (as on 1st January 2021)

For LDC/JSA, PA/SA, DEO: Applicants must have passed Matric with a recognised board or university 12th class level or equivalent test.

For DEO at the Office of Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG): Matric with 12th class pass in the Science Stream with Mathematics as a subject or equivalent from a recognised board.

Selection Process: A computer-based Written Examination (Tier-I), Descriptive Paper (Tier-II) and Form Test/Skill Test (Tier-III) for the position of Data Entry Operator, Postal Assistant & Sorting Assistant (PA/SA) and Lower Division Clerk will be part of the examination.

A descriptive paper of 100 Marks in ‘Pen and Paper Mode’ will be a Tier-II Paper Descriptive Paper. The length of the paper would be one hour (20 minutes compensatory time will also be provided to the candidates). This paper was introduced to evaluate the candidates’ writing skills that are necessary for government jobs. The paper would include the writing of a 200-250 word essay and a letter/application of about 150-200 words. The Tier-II minimum qualifying mark would be 33 per cent. For preparation of merit, the output in Tier II would be included. The paper will need to be written either in English or in Hindi. No evaluation will be made of part paper written in Hindi and part in English.

Tier-III Examination: The Skill Test/ Typing Test, which would be of a qualifying nature, would be the Tier-III examination. The Skill Test/ Typing Test would be consistent with the provisions. The final merit of the successful candidates would be determined on the basis of the Tier-I and Tier-II total score they obtained.

Data Entry Operator Ability Test: (1) Data Entry Machine speed of 8,000 (eight thousand) key depressions per hour. (2) For the role of data entry operator at the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG):- A speed test for data entry work of not less than 15000 main depressions per hour to be calculated by a speed test on Compute

 Application Fee:

Rs. 100/- for candidates from OBC and UR (General).
For all female candidates and candidates belonging to SC, ST, Physically Disabled and Ex-servicemen, the fee is exempted.

How to Apply: Qualified Indian Nationals must be submitted as of 3 December 2019 only in the Online Application Mode. The last date for the submission of an application for online registration is from 15/12/2020 until midnight.
